Renee and I spent a week in Hatch Utah. We visited Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon
Zion National Park
We spent one day here and it was grand. We hiked the Narrows. It’s called the Grand daddy of desert slot canyons. Renee and I hiked 10 miles round trip. The terrain in the narrows is boulders. All different sizes and shapes. We stopped at an Out fitter store and rented the gear we would need to stay warm and safe. So less words and gorgeous photos.
The floor of the canyon is all boulders and rocks of all sizes Note the different colors of the canyon walls Note the person at the bottom of the picture, shows how massive the canyon is Notice the turquoise colored water Beautiful turquoise water against the Navajo sandstone colored walls Again with the person at the bottom of this picture you can see how massive the canyon walls are
Renee and I in our gear to hike the Narrows. We rented all the gear from Zion Adventure Company. This is the link if interested. http://Zion Adventure Company
As you can see Renee is much more put together them me 🙂 Also a picture of a Buck that came walking down the Narrows. It certainly was awe inspiring.
Bryce Canyon
We left for our journey at 6 am. for Bryce Canyon to see the sunrise over the canyons Hoo-doos. After the sunrise we did a hike down to the canyon base to wander through the hoo-doos. Again a journey that did not disappoint.
